The Valle Catholic Warriors Varsity Football team ran through the Jefferson R-7 Blue Jays 56-0 on Friday.

This Blue Jays squad came into this game confident and off of a huge blowout win over Bayless. The Warriors tore down that confidence quickly and efficiently. They started things off with a Grant Fallert touchdown run that gave them the initial lead. A few minutes later, Fallert tossed a touchdown pass to Aiden Heberlie from nine yards out that extended their lead. It didn’t take long for Bryce Giesler to get in on the action as well, as he scored a five-yard rushing touchdown for Valle’s final points of the first quarter.

The Warriors started the second up 21-0 and they weren’t slowing down. Fallert found the end zone again with his feet from 12 yards out for his third touchdown of the game. Then, Josh Bieser took a carry into the end zone from five yards away. To cap off the first half, Heberlie caught another touchdown pass that put Valle up 42-0.

There wasn’t much work left to be done after halftime. The Warriors scored a few more times before the game ended. The first came in the third quarter when Isaac Roth gouged the defense for an 85-yard rushing touchdown. The second came in the fourth quarter when Ryan Fallert found the end zone with his feet from 74 yards out. That gave Valle a 56-0 win and pushed them to 6-0.

Giesler carried the ball 13 times for 168 yards and a touchdown. Roth carried the ball just three times but racked up 92 yards and a touchdown, while Grant Fallert carried it 13 times for 115 yards and two touchdowns. He also passed for 72 yards and two scores. Ryan Fallert put together 75 rushing yards and a touchdown as well, and Heberlie caught two passes for 64 yards and scored on both of them.

Jacob Elbert, Alex Viox, Tim Okenfuss, Bieser and Carson Tucker all had four tackles. Michale Okenfuss picked up two sacks and Roth ball hawked an interception and made three tackles. The Valle defense held R-7 to just 65 total yards.

The Warriors are 6-0 and they have been about as dominant as they could be. They have not scored less than 42 points this season and they have not allowed more than 14. They are ready to beat whoever lines up across from them every week and that is not going to change any time soon. Next, they run up against the New Madrid County Central Eagles on Friday, October 8th in the Warriors’ final away game of the season.
