All the games are in the books, pads and spikes are hanging in the locker room and it’s all quiet on the gridiron. But it’s awards season, which is still a very exciting and emotional time for the young athletes who gave their all this year.
Here at Ameritime Sports we feel that there is no such thing as too much recognition for the special talent that we cover, so we’re going to continue to brag on these boys. Without further ado, here are your Hillsboro Hawks All-State, All-Region and All-District award winners for the 2021 season.
The Hillsboro Hawks had a season to remember in 2021 as they finished 10-2, were crowned Conference Champions and made it all the way to the District Finals. They outscored their opponents 409-150, averaged over 34 points per game and only allowed 12.5 per game with their crippling and suffocating defense. They also ran, hit and bulldozed their way to a nine-game winning streak, which included beating their crosstown rivals, the Festus Tigers… not once but twice. Statistically, they were the number three defense in the state and the number 10 offense in the state, and have a laundry list of individual accolades to prove it.
The Hawks boast eight All-District selections, 14 All-Region and two All-State. These exceptional young men are listed below:
