All the games are in the books, pads and spikes are hanging in the locker room and it’s all quiet on the gridiron. But it’s awards season, which is still a very exciting and emotional time for the young athletes who gave their all this year.
Here at Ameritime Sports we feel that there is no such thing as too much recognition for the special talent that we cover, so we’re going to continue to brag on these boys. Without further ado, here are your Festus Tigers All-State, All-Region and All-District award winners for the 2021 season.
The Tigers season didn’t exactly pan out the way they dreamt it up, but it was an impressive one nonetheless. It ended in the district finals in a gritty, hard-fought battle with Highway A rivals the Hillsboro Hawks, but to get to that point they needed some incredible achievements from their top tier talent. The Tigers saw six of their players awarded All-District honors, 10 named All-Region and one who was named to the All-State team.
