Ste. Genevieve’s boys and girls cross country teams took to a new and improved course at the Notre Dame Cross Country Invitational this past Saturday. The course, at Notre Dame High School along Route K, touts a brand new format for the Dragons to run. The new track claims to have every aspect possible to challenge these high school runners, including; long gentle downhills, sharp downhills, long gentle uphills, sharp uphills, long flats and even switchbacks. Ste. Gen was among 27 small schools in their division to run this weekend and coach Sierra Boyd entered four boys and three girls for the varsity race while entering one boy and two girls for the junior varsity race.
