Head Coach Dina Holland praised the effort her team put forward. “The Conference meet went so well. I was so super proud of the girls.  Maya Wright led the team with her two Conference titles in the 100 hurdles! The 4×400 meter relay, which included Reese Buettner, Sidney Buettner, Payton Bingman and Lauren Nichols also won their race.  The girls continued to get better and turned season bests and personal records”

Nichols also took second place in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 13.45 seconds and the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 1:01.46. She took third place in the 200 Meter Dash as well.

Savannah Schuepbach tied for third place in Pole Vault, clearing 2.43 meters, and Hailey Genge placed second in Shot Put with a distance of 10.37 meters. Evie Roland earned second place in Javelin with a throw of 34.19 meters to round out the Varsity podium finishes.

Holland also pointed out the JV team’s accomplishments. “We had some great showings for the future of our program as well. We hope this continues as we move towards Districts.  Alyvia Branden won both 100 and 300 meter Hurdles in the Junior Varsity.  Destiny Thomas dominated in the Junior Varsity jumps by winning High Jump and placing in Long and Triple Jumps. It is exciting to see the future of the program!”

The JV team took second place in the Conference Meet, scoring 121.5 points, nearly 20 more than the third place school.
