Ste. Genevieve started the third quarter off with the Bumgardaner Show as the fan favorite scored 10 of her 21 points and was responsible for half f Ste. Gen’s points. Then Abby Moore, who had a quiet first half, came out of the woodwork in the third, nailing a big bucket from the field and two more from the charity stripe. Aubuchon drained six more points and the Dragons outscored North County 20-15 in the quarter. This put Ste. Genevieve up 48-45 going into the final eight minutes of the game.

It was all Ste. Genevieve in the fourth quarter. The team made 13 free-throws down the stretch and outscored North County 23-15 in the final frame to seal the 71-60 win and extend their win streak to nine!

“It was a tough game, but I think we played through it pretty well,” said Aubuchon.

Aubuchon along with Bumgardaner scored 21 points for Ste. Genevieve while Reynolds and Flieg added in 13 and 10 points, respectively. The always dependable Moore finished the game with six points, all in the second half.
