One week after lighting up the scoreboard against Affton in an 83-36 win at home, Ste. Genevieve will head out on the road for the first time this season, traveling to St. Charles to take on Class 3 opponent Orchard Farm on Friday night.
So far in the 2022 campaign for the Eagles, they are 0-2 with losses to Houston (49-8) and Wright City (21-7,) and will host another undefeated team coming to their home in field these Dragons out of Ste. Gen.
Ste. Genevieve will look to keep its high-octane offense going as quarterback Aiden Boyer has connected with 16 of his 22 pass attempts for 379 yards and five scores.
The Dragon’s running game is where the offense looks for big plays though, as five different running backs scored touchdowns in Week 2 and just absolutely dominated the ground game on an exponential level.
Boyer has shown he loves to throw to fellow Senior Kaden Flye, who has contributed 11 receptions and 266 yards receiving with three touchdown grabs.
In the first two games of the season, the Dragons are averaging 67 points per game so we’ll see if they can keep that trend up against Orchard Farm in their first ever matchup.
Good luck in Week 3 Dragons!
